fucking inferno

the date: 5 of april. the opening of the inferno festival, with 30 ready lined up black/death/thrash metal bands and 1500 sold out tickets. but the best part.... ME! and Stian (smokk). starting the festival by getting lost in the city of Oslo and getting a little late for the guitar hero competition and the signing of dimmu borgir, i can't say i got pissed about it actualy when we saw the finals of the competitors, who were just insane and the ppl of dimmu was hanging around in the festival area every day anyway so we got to meet them from time to time. sweet! since i've been a fan of those guys since i was 11 years old. that's not enough, i also bumped into Nattfrost from Carpathian Forest and Frost from Satyricon... or alteast that's the guys i had the gutts to ask for a picture and tell them i was a huge fan.

It's a bit funny the thing about meeting your heroes, i named that one of the resons i liked Inferno so much. but there is more resons coming up:

.the people there where all nice and in a good mood. fucking great music. food was oki (if not, just head around the corner to 7 god damned 11). you get to meet the metalgods eye to eye and the crowd that sounds like a metal storm in the moment of a gitar cheep. it is just awsome.

Personaly i had a awsome time. i think my mate Smokk also. thou we both sacrificed our feet cause of all the walking and standing, our neck cause of the headbanging that comes with the territory, my mind cause of all the beer, but not smokk, since he dosen't drink beer (you bastard), and my account cause of the food, the merchandice i just needed and again the beer.

All this cause of the bands: norwegian metal allstars -trinacria (not that good) -primordial - zyklon -suffication -ravencult -red harvest -sigh -immortal -dark funeral -anaal nathrak. don't think that getting to see all these bands wasn't bad out of 30 bands. need som off time so sitt down, drink and get to know a few people you know.

no this is the place i round off and say that i had a damned good time, got a lot out of the weekend and sure as hell are going there next year to. you coming with me?? \m/
